SiliconSystems’ CEO Michael Hajeck Named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year® Finalist for 2008

 Hajeck’s Leadership Recognized for Second Consecutive Year

 ALISO VIEJO, Calif., May 20, 2008 — SiliconSystems, Inc., a world leader in advanced storage technology, today announced that its founder and CEO, Michael Hajeck, has been selected as a regional finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.  Ernst & Young recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs on a regional, national and global basis that are building and leading successful, growing and dynamic businesses.  This is the second consecutive year in which Hajeck has been named a finalist for this prominent award.  Winners will be announced by Ernst & Young at a black-tie awards ceremony on June 11, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency in Irvine, Calif.

 Regional award winners in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards program are eligible for consideration for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year national program.  Award winners in several national categories, as well as the overall national Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award winner, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, Calif., on November 15, 2008.  The national Entrepreneur of the Year celebration is part of Ernst & Young’s Strategic Growth Forum.  The overall national Entrepreneur of the Year award recipient is then considered for the world event held in Monte Carlo.
